'People for the Planet' Charity on Soil Erosion The charity, People for the Planet (PFTP), hosted a fundraiser Sunday afternoon from 1:00-3:00 on September 20th at Wallin Park. PFTP is a non-profit based charity that raises money towards saving the earth from soil erosion. The organization's headquarters are in Hastings, Minnesota. The rising flood waters have been slowly breaking down the top layer of soil in Hastings and PFTP is dedicated to raising $2 million dollars to dump new soil over the whole town.
